This was taken during Christmas in downtown Dallas. It is an annual event appropriately called, TubaChristmas. There were over 60 tuba players and they played for about an hour. This is an event that is held across many cities each year.
The first TUBACHRISTMAS was conducted by the late Paul Lavalle in New York City’s Rockefeller Plaza Ice Rink on Sunday, December 22, 1974.
